We live in an era of instant gratification. Want to watch a movie? Just click a button. Hungry? There’s an app for that. Need an answer? Google has it in seconds. We’ve grown accustomed to getting what we want, when we want it, with minimal effort and maximum speed. It’s no surprise, then, that when it comes to personal growth, many of us find ourselves frustrated and disillusioned by the slow pace of progress. We set out with lofty goals and high expectations, only to lose steam when the results don’t materialize overnight. The truth is, most people fail to grow not because they lack ability or potential, but because they’re impatient. And in the race to see immediate results, they miss out on the profound, transformative growth that only time and patience can deliver.
